David Franco worked as Manager of Process Engineering at CBS Records (Now Sony Music) in Los Angeles and later in Santa Maria, California for 29 years in various positions. He retired from WEA Manufactory, a Time Warner Co. as the Vice President and General Manager of the West Coast operation in Commerce, California, a CD manufacturing facility.
The son of Rev. Simon R. Franco, who served as Superintendent of LABI from 1941-1950, Dave helped his father in the construction of the LABI. Dave’s father was also the Superintendent of the Pacific Conference of the Latin American District (Now the Southern Pacific District) from 1950-1971.
Dave presently serves as a Board member of the Orange County First Assembly of God Church in Santa Ana, California, where he has served in several ministries since 1982 and as a Trustee at LABI College and is a member of the Board Governance Committee. . He also served four years in the Navy.
