Dr. George M. Pallil started out as Chemistry Professor in India. Called to Ministry in 1966, he received his basic ministry training from the Assemblies of God’s Southern Asian Bible College, Bangalore, India. Dr. Pallil served as a short term Missionary in East Africa with Africa Inland Mission. He was instrumental in leading the Assemblies of God movement in India as a Presbyter and Bible College Dean. He has travelled to 37 nations in connection with Missionary work and evangelism
He migrated to America in 1983. After completing a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and Doctorate in Ministry from the California Graduate School of Theology, he started teaching at the Latin American Bible Institute, in La Puente, California in 1989. Dr. Pallil served as the Seminary Chaplain at Fuller Seminary, Pasadena, CA. He also served as Lead Pastor at 2 Assembly of God English Churches in Los Angeles for over twenty-one years.
Currently Dr. Pallil and his wife pastor at South Pasadena Assembly of God Church. Currently, Dr. Pallil is a District Presbyter of the SoCal Network in the Los Angeles area since January 2012 and a Trustee of the LABI College. Dr. Pallil is a professor at the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute and volunteers as a Community Chaplin at the Arcadia Methodist Hospital.
