Rev. Hilario Garza, “Larry”, presently serves as the Superintendent of the Northwest Hispanic District of the Assemblies of God. In 1985 he married Maria and subsequently moved to California to begin their ministry and family. In the spring of 1987, they attended a powerful Missions Conference held on the LABI campus. While there, God reaffirmed the Call and in June of that same year they became Pastors of a small church in Oakland, California. Larry has served as the Lead Pastor of four General Council Affiliated churches, the most recent at Bethel Spanish Assembly of God; a thriving bi-lingual multi-cultural church in Othello, Washington for 10 years. Reverend Gaza finished his undergraduate studies at Latin American Theological Seminary and graduated with a degree in Missional Leadership from Northwest University. Larry also worked for both the Southern Pacific Latin American District (SPLAD) and the Northern Pacific Latin American District (NPLAD). While at NPLAD, he served as the Men’s Director, an Executive Presbyter, and as a General Presbyter. As General Presbyter, he helped lay the foundation for the new Northwest Hispanic District. In March of 2015, Reverend Hilario was elected as the first Superintendent of the Northwest Hispanic District and also serves on the Executive Boards of Northwest University and Latin American Bible College.
