We are happy to announce that LABI College has recently become a partner with the prestigious organization the Oikonomia Network (ON).
The ON is “a learning community of theological educators and evangelical seminaries helping pastors equip people for whole-life discipleship, fruitful work and economic wisdom.” Website: http://oikonomianetwork.org/
In September 2016, LABI College was visited by Dr. Greg Forster, Director of the ON, to determine based on their Student Goal Outcomes and Statement of Faith whether LABI College is a good fit for the ON community. As its only non-accredited partner, LABI College will be able to benefit from the theological and educational resources this community provides.
This grant funded network of theological schools includes such institutions as Dallas Theological Seminary, Azusa Pacific University, Biola University, Fuller Seminary, Asbury Seminary and many more. Some of their objectives include advancing theological research, discussions, conferences and trainings.
Additionally, for the past year our very own President Dr. Marty Harris has been serving on a collaborative research/assessment team for the network. Dr. Harris had the opportunity to showcase LABI/LATS at a network conference presentation last January (2016).
We believe this partnership will bless our College, our students, and our community.
