 LABI-CA is the place where callings are heard and visions are seen. When I first knew that God had a calling on my life I did not know when and how I was going to fulfill it. I knew I wanted to serve the Lord but I was in San Diego and had never left the comfort of my own city. When I heard about LABI-CA I decided to come because I knew that my life would change and the experiences that I would have there would shape the course of my future. This was true! It was at LABI-CA that the Lord’s voice became clearer. It was at LABI-CA that my passion for learning God’s word became ignited. And it was at LABI-CA that I fell more deeply in love with the Lord. Now, as the Academic Dean, I know that my experience may resemble many who are discerning the call of God. This is a place where God shapes characters, speaks to our spirit, and prepares people for ministry. I know LABI-CA is the place where our students hear God’s voice and direction for their life. Not only does LABI prepare students spiritually, but students are also challenged academically and learn how to think clearly about God. The proclamation of the Gospel is dependent upon the preparation of every generation! | The primary purpose of LABI-CA is to effectively prepare men and women spiritually, intellectually, and professionally for bilingual ministry. The curriculum aims to satisfy this objective by offering a two year diploma in Bible and Ministry. This diploma encompasses the essential biblical, theological, and ministerial courses that prepare and equip the student for an effective ministerial service. This diploma also satisfies all the credential and licensing course requirements from the Southern Pacific District of the Assemblies of God. | |
