Institutional Aid and Endowment Scholarships
Endowment Scholarships
Students must take a minimum of 12 units for eligibility.
The Dina & Augie Lopez Endowment Scholarship
This is an award of $500 per semester. This scholarship is available for all eligible students who apply.
Bessie Huerta Endowment Scholarship
This is an award of $500 per semester. This specific scholarship is available for female students who currently are in a ministerial role or desire to work in ministry.
Drs. George and Shalini Pallil Endowment Scholarship
This is an award of $300. This scholarship is available for all eligible students who apply.
Alliance for Higher Education Minority "Making the Difference" Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to only returning students who apply. Returning students must be of an ethnic minority and be a member of an Assemblies of God church. The church must be in good standings with Assemblies of God.
Institutional Scholarships
Students must take a minimum of 12-16 units for eligibility.
Financial Need Scholarship
This scholarship for students facing financial hardship. All students are eligible to apply.
Dean’s List Institutional Scholarship
This is a scholarship for current students who have completed at least one semester at LABI (returning students) with a cumulative GPA over 3.0. To be considered for renewal, the recipient must maintain the required cumulative GPA and the above eligibility requirements. To receive the award, the student must submit the institutional aid application.
Missionary and Pastoral Family Institutional Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded and applied to student accounts per semester. To receive this award, the student must be a child of a licensed Senior Pastor or an active missionary.
Sibling Institutional Scholarship
This is awarded to both siblings if they are both enrolled full time and are living on campus. To receive an award, both students must submit the institutional aid application.
Pastoral Intern Institutional Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students serving in a pastoral internship role. Students must submit the institutional aid application and meet the eligibility requirements established for this award.
Resident Assistant Institutional Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students serving as Resident Assistants. Students must submit the institutional aid application and fulfill the responsibilities and requirements associated with the Resident Assistant role.
President’s Inclusion Institutional Scholarship
Awards may include up to a 25% tuition discount for those who live on campus (residents) and can be up to 50% for those who are commuting (off-campus students). The expectation is that students awarded will contribute positively to our LABI mission, as well as bring a diverse perspective and enriching experience to our community. Students who have been traditionally underrepresented within our LABI College community and have a demonstrated interest, experience, or plan to serve in diverse ministry experiences are welcome to apply. In addition to the Institutional Aid application, Students must also submit a two-page essay on how they believe their diversity experience will contribute to or advance the mission of LABI.
