About the event

Café y Comunidad: is a relaxed event series centered around coffee at LABI College, aimed at providing students and prospective students with a welcoming environment to explore the college's academic offerings in Theology, Business, and Psychology. These gatherings offer a chance to engage with faculty, staff, and peers in a laid-back setting, allowing attendees to get a taste of campus life, foster connections, and understand how LABI can support their academic and personal development.


Workshop Objective: This workshop is designed to empower theology students, aspiring preachers, and young individuals with the essential skills required to effectively reach out to non-believers through preaching. It delves into sermon preparation, communication techniques, and ways to present the Gospel in a manner that resonates with those unfamiliar with it.


Workshop Breakdown:

- Opening Introducing the importance of preaching to reach the unchurched in today's society.

- Session 1: Fundamentals of Preaching: Crafting a message that is coherent and captivating.

- Session 2: Engaging the Unchurched: Practical approaches to connecting with individuals who do not identify as believers, utilizing relatable language and personal anecdotes.

- Q&A and Discussion: Opportunity for an open dialogue and exchange of ideas on overcoming obstacles when preaching to those outside the church community.
