The Fall 2025 semester is here, and LABI College is filled with excitement as we welcome both new and returning students back to campus! Each semester brings fresh opportunities to grow—in faith, in academics, and in community—and this year, we’re beginning with a powerful reminder of what unites us: the presence of God.
Apertura (Homecoming) Service
Our semester kickoff begins with the Apertura (Homecoming) Service on
Friday, September 5th, at 7:00 p.m. in the LABI Chapel.
This special service will feature:

Theme: Presence — rooted in Exodus 33:12–23, where Moses pleads for the glory and presence of the Lord. Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to abide in God’s presence and remain fully present in the spaces He has called us—whether in the classroom, at home, in ministry, or in daily life.
Speaker: Pastor Sam Flores of Koin Church, LABI alumnus, who will inspire us with a message rooted in both Scripture and lived experience.
LABI Worship Team: Leading us in powerful worship as we dedicate this semester to the Lord.
Candlelight Ceremony: A meaningful time of unity as we welcome both new and returning students into the LABI family.
Apertura is more than just a tradition—it’s a sacred moment of dedication, connection, and vision for the semester ahead. We can’t wait to see our community gather for this powerful evening of worship and fellowship.
Campus Clean-Up Day
Later in the month, we’ll continue building our community spirit during Campus Clean-Up Day on Saturday, September 27th. This day will be a hands-on opportunity for students, staff, and alumni to serve together and care for our beautiful campus. More details will be released soon, but we encourage everyone to set aside time to participate.

A Semester of Growth and Community
As we begin this new academic journey, LABI College remains committed to its mission: for the Church and the world. We are excited to see how God will move through the classroom, chapels, student life, and beyond.
To all our new students—welcome! To our returning students—welcome back! Let’s step into this semester with hearts ready to learn, serve, and embrace God’s presence together.
