FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
La Puente, CA – May 28, 2025 – LABI College, the nation’s oldest Hispanic Bible College established in 1926, is pleased to announce continued progress in its Centennial Campus Projects, leading up to its historic 100-year celebration in 2026.
Among the three major improvement initiatives, the Oddo Terrace Courtyard– is quickly taking shape. Adjacent to the chapel, this 4,500-square-foot area will be transformed into a beautiful, multi-use gathering space for students and community events. Features will include upgraded landscaping and hardscaping, outdoor tiles, a large pergola, a BBQ area, and a small stadium-style seating installation.
Simultaneously, LABI College has broken ground on an exciting new renovation project to reimagine and expand the Admissions Office, creating dedicated, functional spaces to better serve prospective students and their families.
These updates are designed to enhance hospitality and improve the overall admissions experience—reflecting LABI’s commitment to both academic excellence and Christ-centered service.

“These projects reflect not only our growth but our deep desire to invest in the next generation of leaders, pastors, and missionaries,”said Dr. Marty Harris, President of LABI College. “As we approach our centennial, we remain committed to preparing a campus that inspires, welcomes, and equips.”

To date, LABI College has successfully completed major upgrades including new chapel carpeting and screens, dorm renovations, updated HVAC systems, faculty lounge enhancements, and extensive landscaping improvements.
The college continues its fundraising efforts to meet the $275,000 goal for these final three campus beautification projects by June 2025. Contributions are tax-deductible and can be designated toward specific projects such as the Chapel Renovation, Administration Courtyard, or the Oddo Terrace.
