LABI College Fall 2020 Classes and Housing Options

Nationally accredited through ABHE, state approved through the BPPE, and recently Federally approved for Financial Aid, LABI is making great progress. Nonetheless, we are challenged with the COVID-19 pandemic, regulatory and health considerations, and the potential complications of a full reopening of our campus and classes too soon.

After careful consideration of the health and safety of our students and with dynamic conversations with our staff, faculty and administration, LABI College has decided to continue with on-line learning for the fall semester and have a “soft” and limited reopening for our residential community, access to on-campus library resources, and modified spiritual formation and student life experiences (for those living on campus). Beginning spring 2021 (next semester), we hope and pray to have a full reopening of all on campus courses, residential and student life experiences.

For this fall semester, classes, chapel, and student life experiences will be offered (virtually and on-line) in ways that are accommodating for most students. Our faculty have received additional training for on-line classes, and new on-line library and technology resources have been acquired to support faculty as they deliver curricular goals and to help our students achieve their learning objectives.

Any campus/residential experiences will follow health and safety expectations as outlined by local and state government offices. We believe that it is best for our students, families, and community to be clear and timely with this decision, as we prioritize both the health of our community as well as the quality of education. We also understand that knowing what to expect for this coming semester will help our students and their families make informed decisions about their educational programming. As such, we will be reaching out to each returning and prospective student and assigning them an academic and admissions counselor to help with these fall semester adjustments, academic advising, scheduling, housing needs, and to answer any questions.

LABI College is beginning another academic year of preparing Christian men and women for service in the Church and the world. We are excited, hopeful, and trust that God will continue to do great doing in the lives of every student, staff, and faculty member. We look forward to starting a new year with you. God has great things in store for you this coming semester at LABI!
