LABI College Student Jazmin Vera Featured on YouVersion Bible App

La Puente, CA – June 4, 2025 — LABI College proudly celebrates the recognition of one of its outstanding students, Jazmin Vera, who was recently featured in the global YouVersion Bible App as the presenter of the Verse of the Day.

Jazmin, a recent Valedictorian of LABI’s Associate of Arts in Bible and Ministry program and a current student in the Bachelor of Arts in Theology, was selected to share a devotional reflection based on Psalm 23:5–6. Her message highlighted the powerful truth of God’s provision and presence in the face of life’s battles.

“Imagine for a moment the table God has prepared for us. It doesn’t matter the enemies that you and I are facing today... fear, anxiety, depression, loneliness, maybe sickness — that doesn’t have power over you because God has promised to be with us,”

The YouVersion Bible App, used by over half a billion people worldwide, selected Jazmin’s reflection to encourage and uplift users with the reminder of God’s goodness and mercy that follows us all the days of our lives.

Her devotional stands as a testament not only to her faith and leadership but also to the mission of LABI College to equip and empower the next generation of Christian leaders to serve both the Church and the world.
